About the Course:

Successful retirement planning depends on the choices we make at each intersection. Do we get in our own way? According to statistics, undoubtedly.

Our emotions can (and often do) get in the way of sound decision-making. Our internal dialogue is developed early in life and many of us don’t understand how to break the cycle of how we deal with money and finances. Although we will discuss different risks, our focus is to tackle ways to reframe your internal dialogue and change how you make investment decisions. We’ll examine how using the wrong metrics may co-opt the true risk of your decision-making and learn how to effectively stay on track to reach your goals.

Course Objective:

  • To identify different financial risk categories,
  • To learn the cycle of decision-making and how to de-couple emotions,
  • To identify the single easiest way to frame and measure retirement progress, and
  • To understand how you approach financial decisions and how to use that knowledge for your best outcome.

Who is the Target Audience?

  • Anyone interested in understanding themselves and their approach to money and investing.

Basic Knowledge:

  • Understand basic investing terminology.
